Exclusive product discounts and a bottle of bubbly for mobility dealer’s powerchair success
Ireland’s largest mobility product specialist MMS Medical has been awarded TGA’s Dealer of the Quarter Award, after the Irish dealer achieved exceptional sales of the TGA WHILL Model C powerchair.
According to mobility scooter and powerchair specialist TGA Mobility, MMS Medical has excelled at selling its WHILL Model C powerchair, an innovative and contemporary chair developed in Japan by automotive and technology specialists.
In addition, TGA commended MMS Medical’s continued customer-focused approach backing up its sales.
Awarded quarterly by TGA, the Dealer of the Quarter accolade is presented to one of its dealers as official recognition of performance and quality service. Alongside kudos, MMS Medical will receive exclusive product discounts, premium champagne and free publicity, says TGA.
Gearoid O’Herlihy, Managing Director of MMS Medical, commented: “We are delighted to have won TGA Dealer of the Quarter for our selling success with WHILL Model C. We are finding the market very receptive to this product as it ideally fills a niche between basic wheelchairs and sophisticated powerchairs.
“Customers are continually giving us feedback that the WHILL Model C is a preferred solution as it does not resemble a medical product – important to our widening customer age bracket. Users from age 25-60+ are looking at the product, especially those who seek short-term mobility assistance and are not full-time wheelchair users. Individuals who cannot self-propel over larger distances and have some limited walking abilities are choosing the WHILL so they can conserve energy for more independent mobility at home. WHILL Model C provides a cool and stylish market alternative.”
With outlets in Cork, Dublin, Galway and Northern Ireland, MMS Medical is one of Ireland’s leading medical equipment providers, supplying public and private hospitals, nursing homes, primary care centres, as well as an approved partner of the Health Service Executive.
Installing, repairing and servicing a full range of mobility and rehabilitation equipment across Ireland, the family-run mobility equipment supplier has been trading for over three decades and boasts a fully trained team of service engineers operating from bases all around the country, backed up by a fleet of comprehensively equipped vehicles.
Gearoid finished: “This trade award from TGA is also indicative of success as a whole across our business. We are one of the largest suppliers of mobility and rehabilitation products in Ireland and continue to focus on providing innovative solutions – strengthened by our family-run structure and considered assessment-led services.
“We have very carefully selected our portfolio which now exceeds 400 products to ensure only quality solutions can be chosen by our valued customers. Partnering with TGA so we can supply the WHILL powerchair, Strongback wheelchairs and wheelchair powerpacks are integral to our growth and respected reputation.”
Last month, TGA Mobility held its first Dealer Roadshow in Dublin as part of its ongoing dealer outreach programme, with the company hitting the road and making an effort to visit dealers located further afield.
