Mobility scooter specialist Monarch Mobility is looking forward to connecting with trade partners at the RISE @ THIIS B2B event in May and showcasing its brand new range of powerchairs and mobility scooters to retailers.

Held in partnership between THIIS Magazine, British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) and RISE 4 Disability, RISE @ THIIS is a trade-only B2B show for the mobility, access and independent living sectors.

On 10 May 2022 at the Doubletree at Hilton in Milton Keynes, trade professionals will have the chance to discover new products, opportunities and connections at the free-to-attend event.

Attendees can also access a full schedule of educational and engaging conference sessions led by a roster of expert speakers, while the night before, the industry will enjoy a night of networking and entertainment at the RISE @ THIIS gala dinner.

Martin Sampson, Company Director at Monarch Mobility, says that the company is looking forward to introducing its new products to visitors at the event.

He commented: “In the first quarter of 2020 Monarch Mobility were ready to launch a new range to the marketplace consisting of power wheelchairs and a new complete range of mobility scooters.

“Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, and everything was put on hold. So, this year’s trade show will be our first time to introduce our new products to the mobility industry.”

The new range is very exciting, says Martin, with the majority of products already available on the Motability scheme. He adds: “This is everyone’s chance to see some products never seen before, products with new features and more benefits to retailers’ customers.”

Following the success of its Ezi-Fold powerchair, Monarch Mobility will be showcasing an extension to its popular Ezi-Fold range of powerchairs with three new updated models, the Ezi-Fold Pro, the Ezi-Fold Auto and the Ezi-Fold Traveller.

Martin comments: “The Ezi-Fold power chair has shown in both retail sales and the Motability Scheme that it is a winner and tops anything similar.”

The Ezi-Fold Pro comes with remote attendant control as standard, explains Martin. The Ezi-Fold Auto also has the remote attendant control as standard, but its auto folding function will assist those who need that extra help. Topping off the range is the Ezi-Fold Traveller, which weighs in at 14.5kg, making it “probably the lightest powerchair in the market.”

The firm will also be showcasing its new flagship Class 3 models, the Vogue XL and Vogue Sport mobility scooters. Comments Martin: “Equipped with full suspension and a carry capacity of 28 stone and 32 stone respectively, both scooters boast a jaw-dropping 30-mile range.

“With their solid build and durable parts, these premium scooters cope easily with varying terrain whilst their 10-inch wheels and optional pneumatic tyres make for a smooth ride. Few mobility scooters can match the Vogue battery range. Capable of up to 30 miles, these super reliable machines are a must for anyone considering an 8mph road legal mobility scooter.”

This year promises to be very exciting for Monarch Mobility, explains Martin, now that the new range is up and running and available on the Motability Scheme, putting the firm “on a level playing field” with other suppliers.

But the biggest news is that that the firm has not stopped there, says Martin. He adds: “We have even more new innovated products on the way, and we are looking forward to sharing these with our loyal trade dealers, so watch this space!”

Monarch Mobility is on stand 32 showing its full range of products. On the stand will be Chris Hill, Trade Manager, who will be accompanied by Monarch Mobility’s Company Directors, David Leach and Martin Sampson.
