EXCLUSIVE: Mobility Scotland seeks strategic partnerships to help it grow within the home access sector

Mobility Scotland is seeking an organisation – or a few – that aims to grow its business in Scotland, primarily within the home access sector, with the retailer’s support and guidance.
Following the mobility provider’s achievement at the end of 2024 in winning the ‘BHTA Retailer of the Year Award’, Glasgow-based Mobility Scotland is entering 2025 with a strong commitment to continuous growth and development, and a determination to scale Mobility Scotland, both its service provision and its brand, country wide.
The retailer says that its three core business sectors — home access (stairlifts), seating (domestic and healthcare including pressure care), and beds (profiling and adjustable) — are experiencing rapid growth nationwide.
It is therefore seeking “a significant opportunity” to form key strategic partnerships with like-minded, ambitious retailers and healthcare providers who may be interested in entering the home access (stairlift) market with Mobility Scotland’s support, guidance and expertise.
Billy Finnie, Operations Director at Mobility Scotland, commented to THIIS: “We are looking to engage in informal discussions to explore the possibility of developing a joint venture or strategic partnership with the right organisation.
“By pooling resources, expanding our service reach, and enhancing our installation and delivery networks, we believe we can create a even stronger proposition that the Scottish market would welcome.
“Additionally, our goal is to establish a consortium that maximizes buying power, develops product ranges, shares best practices, and enables a connected, responsive nationwide service for sales, delivery, service, and repairs.”
If this opportunity interests, please feel free to reach out in confidence to Billy Finnie at billy@mobilityscotlandltd.co.uk.
