US mobility solutions provider Merits Health Products, Inc has today announced the acquisition of Aergo Health, a UK based medical technology company specialising in dynamic postural management solutions for wheelchair users.

This strategic acquisition integrates Aergo Health’s postural management solutions into Merits Health comprehensive product portfolio.

Established in 1995, Florida-based Merits Health Products is a supplier of powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and stairlifts.

Aergo’s patented smart air cells automatically adjusts wheelchair users’ seated positions in real-time, providing personalised support and comfort through an IoT-enabled system.

Aergo Health has built a strong reputation for its clinically validated postural management solutions that support children and adults with neuromuscular disorders. As part of the acquisition, Sheana Yu, Founder and CEO of Aergo Health, joined Merits Health Products, Inc. as UK Product Manager. In this role, she will continue to oversee the integration of Aergo’s technology into Merits Health Products and work with the team to strengthen the company’s seating portfolio.
