The lightweight Microlite scooter by Cavendish Health Care & Mobility

Sheryl Wright, Trade Manager for Cavendish Health Care & Mobility, has said that the supplier is looking forward to showing its new range of portable mobility scooters and meeting with dealers at the upcoming British Healthcare Trade Show (BHTS) on 15th June 2021.

At the B2B event, which is exclusively made for the trade, Cavendish Health Care has also stated that the show offers an excellent opportunity to understand all the new additions to the market before end-users see them.

Specialists in lightweight and portable mobility scooters, Cavendish Health Care & Mobility have been sourcing unique mobility equipment for over 10 years.

THIIS caught up with Sheryl to find out more about why retailers should visit Cavendish Health Care at the show and the significance of having a B2B show for the mobility and access trade at the right time of year.

“This has been a ‘testing’ period for the mobility industry. We’re supporting the BHTS by introducing new and unique portable mobility scooters to exhibitors.

“The BHTS places focus on affordability and simplicity which gives companies in the industry an opportunity to attend an event without having to pay a high price to get involved.”

What are you most looking forward to at BHTS?

“The mobility industry is very fast-moving and our team love to check out the variety of innovative and exciting products on offer. It will also be a great opportunity to catch up with our peers.

“After all, we’re all in the industry for one reason – which is to help customers retain or keep their independence for as long as possible.

“Of course, this event will hopefully mark the beginning of some normality with focus on the busy summer season ahead.”

Why should people come and see you at the show?

“We’re offering a range of portable mobility scooters to suit everyone. There’s the lightweight MicroLite (weighing just 17.9kgs) at one end of the spectrum, and the SupaScoota Spartan at the other which has a weight capacity of 32 stone.

“Attendees should also expect to see folding scooters such as the Di Blasi R30, i3 and V8 mobility scooter.”

Why do you think a trade-exclusive event for the industry is important?

“Well, this is the first time that dealers have been able to meet in a little while. This gives everyone a chance to have a chat and find out what is new to the market.

“Also, this show is an excellent opportunity to understand all the new additions to the market before end-users see them.”
