Etac R82 to continue with educational programme offering with paediatric hoisting seminar at Kidz Middle
An innovative supplier of assistive equipment for disabled children and adults, Etac R82 will be presenting a hoisting seminar for healthcare professionals and parents at Kidz to Adultz Middle on the 21st of March.
The practical seminar – ‘The Challenges of Hoisting Children’ – will be led by Colin Williams who is the category sales manager for overhead hoists at Etac R82. It will be held in Seminar Room 1 at 11:30am and will consider different possibilities which can help improve the hoisting experience for children.
Colin has worked in the healthcare industry for almost 25 years, with a speciality in moving and handling people. He has provided many solutions to Local Authorities for domestic and social care settings.
Additionally, Colin has vast experience of transfer requirements within special education, care homes and acute wards. He is an IOSH approved trainer in “assisting to move people.”
Open from 9:30am-4:30pm, Kidz to Adultz Middle is one of a series of regional exhibitions that showcases the latest products and services that assist disabled children, young adults and their families. The events also provide an educational CPD seminar programme for healthcare professionals.
Stand D1 will display a range of paediatric assistive equipment from Etac’s trusted range of brands. Etac R82 products assist children with sitting, standing, walking, hoisting, toileting and bathing; its latest R82 innovation will be unveiled at Kidz Middle, the Rabbit Up.
Kidz Middle will take place at the Ericsson Exhibition Hall in the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
