Electric Mobility targets a younger demographic with the launch of its Razoo powerchair
Mobility equipment supplier Electric Mobility has launched an agile new compact rear-wheel drive powerchair that it hopes will appeal to a younger customer.
One of the most petite powerchairs to join the market, the Rascal Razoo has been designed to be manoeuvrable and agile with a turning circle of 97cm.
Travelling at 3.8 miles per hour and with a range of up to 6.8 miles, the chair has a maximum carrying capacity of up to 21 stone and a narrow width of 22.9 inches. It also conveniently dismantles into three pieces for transportation and storage.
An upgraded version of the now discontinued Rascal P320 Compact powerchair, Electric Mobility has stated that this new model will appeal to customers seeking a functional and ergonomic powerchair.
Taking into consideration the key features of the Razoo, Electric Mobility have created a customer profile to help retailers identify who may be suited to this model.
Jonathan Hearth, Managing Director of Electric Mobility, said: “Prioritising function and usability, this customer may need to use the powerchair indoors and outdoors for prolonged use.
“Storage and transportation are considerable purchasing factors and a low maintenance chair is essential.
“Style remains at the forefront. with the Razoo appealing to a younger demographic who want a contemporary design to complement their lifestyle.”
Electric Mobility has been busy with new launches recently as retail has been reopening nationwide. Last month, the manufacturer expanded its Rascal range with the new Vortex Performance mobility scooter.
Jonathan added: “Due to the continued support from our network of authorised retailers throughout the pandemic we are delighted to be able to launch numerous new products to market.
“Introducing fresh and exciting products into the industry will support and maximise sales growth as consumer confidence and purchasing increases as we transition further out of lockdown.”
