Electric Mobility expands Rascal range with new and ‘enticing’ mobility scooter
As retail reopens nationwide, the Vortex Performance Scooter is the latest mobility scooter to join Electric Mobility’s Rascal range.
The Vortex is a new, unique, and dynamic 8mph scooter to help end-users with reduced mobility. Expanding on the underlying architecture of the already successful Vecta Sport, the Vortex has been engineered by the Electric Mobility team exclusively for Authorised Rascal Retailers.
Electric Mobility says that style, substance and safety epitomise the Vortex with cutting-edge design and the latest technology. It could make a great addition to mobility retailers’ scooter portfolios.
“If the Vecta Sport is the nimble and stealth Lioness, the Vortex is the King of the Jungle,” the company said in a statement about the new mobility device.
Boasting all the features that have consistently made the Vecta Sport a best-selling 8mph performance scooter for the supplier, the Vortex is designed to appeal to customers who want a more scaled-up option.
With new contemporary colours to choose from – Titanium Blue and Metallic Heather – the Vortex offers mobility retailers a product with the ‘wow factor’ to entice footfall and intrigue potential customers with the re-opening of UK retail, the company outlines.

Key features of the Vortex include a range of up to 25.5 miles, 75Ah batteries, max carrying capacity of up to 28 stone, powerful 900W motor, plus a dedicated superfast USB charger port.

To order a Vortex, Electric Mobility asks Authorised Rascal Retailers to contact their Area Dealer Managers to secure one of the first scooters.
Earlier this year, the mobility equipment supplier released a selection of images for its network of mobility dealers to use, which demonstrate social distancing, compliance with mask-wearing and outdoor activities to help maximise selling potential even during the most difficult times.
