efoldi sales growth

Mobility solutions specialist eFOLDi has launched a raft of trade-focused initiatives to help support its network of mobility retailers and overseas distributors, following a successful year of trading which it says saw “unprecedented” levels of sales growth.

Despite challenging trading conditions impacting both demand patterns and supply chains because of COVID-19 restrictions in the UK and abroad, the Surrey-based mobility specialist has stated that it experienced a dramatic upward shift in sales revenues in 2021.

The success follows a comprehensive refocus in its trade operation and expansion into new export markets, in countries such as Denmark and Israel. eFOLDi is now continuing to dedicate further levels of investment and resource to support its network of dedicated trade partners by launching a host of new trade-focused initiatives.

eFOLDi has developed a comprehensive suite of new materials and technical documentation aimed at assisting its partners with product servicing and maintenance, as well as local sales, marketing and promotional activity.

The list of collaterals includes helpful quick-start guides, product service manuals, point-of-sale items and handy ‘tutorial’ videos, in addition to some promotional video assets. eFOLDi is also making some items available in multi-language formats to better support its distributors in export markets.

Tim Ross, National Sales Manager at eFOLDi commented: “eFOLDi has ambitious plans to further expand its business, both in the UK and internationally and the development of these materials will really help support our network of eFOLDi trade partners, particularly as demand for our products remains strong.

“As our partner network scales up and becomes more diverse internationally, its essential to invest further by allocating additional resources not just for the UK but the export side of the business as well – so doing business with eFOLDi is as easy, and as efficient as possible.

“eFOLDi is fully committed to supporting its trade partners, and launching these new initiatives combined with the appointment of our new Business Development Manager, Robin Benson, will go a long way to help us achieve that goal.

“Plus, as we have shown throughout the pandemic, eFOLDi will continue to invest heavily in finished stock and parts availability to help overcome any challenges due to supply-chain disruption.”

eFOLDi also attributes its recent sales growth, in part, to the success of its new ‘Lite’ scooter, which won the prestigious “Innovation of the Year’ award at the Naidex exhibition in September 2021. According to the firm, the lightweight, folding travel scooter is proving to be popular with end-users, as well as mobility retailers in the UK and its growing number of distributors overseas.
