Drive Medical appoints experienced new Head of Pressure Area Care
Mobility and healthcare equipment supplier Drive Medical has appointed Esther Acton as its new Head of Pressure Area Care, bringing more than 30 years of experience in marketing and product management to the role.
Esther has spent almost 20 years working in the healthcare sector, including more than a decade specialising in pressure area care.
With a strong interest in combining commercial expertise with positive clinical outcomes, Esther is focused on supporting education, innovation and the delivery of appropriate pressure care solutions. Her work will centre on helping to reduce the risk of pressure injuries, improve patient outcomes and support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care.
Esther said she was attracted to Drive Medical by the company’s ambitions for growth, collaboration and innovation as it continues to strengthen its position in the UK market.
In her new role, Esther will support Drive Medical’s ambition to develop a market-leading range of pressure care solutions while creating value for customers, healthcare professionals and the people they support.
Outside of work, Esther enjoys spending time with her family, reading, swimming, going to the gym and spending time outdoors.
Drive Medical also unveiled a dynamic mattress which has been designed to provide effective pressure redistribution.
