Justina recently completed a Level 3 Trusted Assessor course

The past month has been a particularly successful one with Justina having completed a Level 3 Trusted Assessor course, which officially qualifies her to assess for equipment to support independent living.

This national qualification, taught by TACT (Trusted Assessing and Care Training) and accredited by OCN London, is designed to enable organisations to upskill their frontline staff in recognising, assessing for and prescribing minor aids and adaptations.

Justina commented: “I’ve been doing this job for many years now and I’ve helped countless customers during this time, but that’s not to say I haven’t still got more to learn! I think it’s really important to continue your own professional development and keep up with changes – we should never rest on our laurels, no matter how long we’ve been in a job for. Learning is a lifelong process.

“Not only can we learn new things to add to the service that we offer, but it can bring new perspectives, too. I love what I do, so it’s always fascinating to undertake new courses that add an extra dimension to the knowledge and experience that I’ve accumulated over the years.”

Now in its ninth year of business, Stuart Mobility, a specialist in chairs and seating, is run by husband and wife team, Stuart and Justina Nurse. The business focuses on home assessments as well as a thriving website. Earlier this year, Rachel Nurse joined Stuart Mobility, as Consulting Occupational Therapist.
