Manage at home tablet new website

Medequip, one of the longest serving providers of contracted out ‘Community Equipment Services’, has relaunched its direct-to-customer e-commerce website Manage At Home, with enhanced product search and navigation capabilities.

Highlighting that customers are using websites “in different ways, from different places and for different reasons,” the new Manage At Home website has been developed around making product identification fast, easy and accurate, says the company.

Boasting features designed to help users navigate and browse products matching their specific, personal needs, the new retail site has also incorporated the Disabled Living Foundation’s AskSARA application – a self-assessment tool providing advice devised by OTs for users.

With a fully responsive design and a completely redefined hierarchy enabling users to search for products based on need or by locations within the home, Medequip’s refreshed online store now offers special collections for specific needs. These currently include dementia friendly, bariatric and telecare selections, with plans in place to further develop these collections as a result of user research and product availability.

In addition, the company has revamped its product pages to include high-quality product images viewable in a lightbox overlay for added definition, with the ability to select and view colour choices and print specifications immediately.

Alongside its improved navigation and intuitive product search capabilities, the website also includes improved accessibility and a Live Chat feature, as well as a blog with articles covering a number of end-user focused mobility topics.

Recently, Medequip caught up with THIIS to discuss the ins and outs of delivering community loan equipment services and the decision-making process behind recycling or discarding used equipment.
