Chunc appoints BES Healthcare as its distributor in Northern Ireland and Ireland
Posture and mobility specialist Chunc has announced the appointment of BES Healthcare as its distributor in Ireland and Northern Ireland for a second term.
BES Healthcare has been a trusted supplier to the UK healthcare market for over 30 years. With a focus on high quality, cost-effective assistive technology solutions, its portfolio includes world-class brands such as Bodypoint, Varilite and Stealth.

Chunc has recently introduced XL sizing to make it even easier for customers to continue using their chairs into their thirties and beyond. The Chunc one, Hilo Outdoor and Chunc Adapt are all crash-tested in line with ISO 7176-19 which means customers can stay in their chairs whilst travelling in a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Chunc is a family-run business that was created when the Smith family could not find a suitable wheelchair for their daughter, who was born severely disabled and later diagnosed with cerebral palsy. With a background in designing and manufacturing products for the aerospace industry, the family set out to revolutionise the functionality, styling and user-friendliness of children’s wheelchairs.
