CareFlex launches supportive tilt-in-space care chair with adaptable postural support

Specialist seating manufacturer CareFlex has launched the EasiTilt, a supportive care chair for individuals who are beginning to experience difficulty maintaining a stable sitting posture.
Many individuals reach a stage where a standard armchair or rise and recline chair no longer provides adequate support, according to CareFlex. This may present as forward sliding, lateral leaning, reduced sitting tolerance, or an increased need for repositioning assistance from a caregiver.
Unlike traditional recliners, the EasiTilt incorporates tilt-in-space functionality and adaptable postural support, allowing the whole chair to tilt while maintaining body alignment and pelvic stability.
The chair also offers adjustable seat width and depth, five back options, an elevating and negative-angle leg rest, an angle-adjustable flip-up footplate, removable Transfer-Assist arms, pressure redistributing Reflexion foam and manual or motorised operation.
In addition, an accompanying comprehensive accessory programme allows the EasiTilt to be configured around individual clinical and functional requirements.
Craig Downton, Sales & Marketing Director at CareFlex, commented: “Retailers are often already supporting customers with rise and recline seating, mobility equipment and independent living products. The EasiTilt allows them to support customers whose seating requirements are becoming more challenging and who need greater postural support.”
