Bosch eBike Systems partners with RideAble Now to support adaptive cycling
Bosch eBike Systems has announced a new brand partnership with RideAble Now, the UK adaptive mountain bike platform founded by mountain bike rider Martyn Ashton.
The partnership will see Bosch support RideAble Now’s work to increase participation in adaptive cycling and improve access to suitable bikes and technology for disabled riders.
Launched in January 2026, RideAble Now is a not-for-profit social enterprise focused on inspiring, growing and funding the adaptive cycling community. The organisation was founded by Ashton, who returned to riding using adaptive bikes following a spinal cord injury.
As an official brand partner, Bosch eBike Systems will provide technical support and promote the role eBike technology can play in helping riders with disabilities or life-changing injuries access cycling.

A key focus of the partnership will be Bosch’s Performance Line CX drive unit, which offers up to 120 Nm of torque and a support factor of up to 600 per cent.
The system is suited to the additional power requirements of adaptive cycles and, according to RideAble Now, can help bridge the gap between developments in mainstream eBike technology and specialist adaptive bike design.
Ashton said: “For a huge number of riders, the modern eBike is a form of adaptive bike. It’s the engine that unlocks the full potential of the machine.
“Having Bosch eBike Systems join us as an official partner is a recognition of our shared journey, and their support will be fundamental to our community’s future.”
Bosch will also support the RideAble Now Access Fund, a community-funded grant programme designed to help disabled riders meet the cost of purchasing an adaptive bike.
Adaptive cycles can represent a significant financial investment, and the fund aims to reduce that barrier by providing financial support to riders seeking to return to, or take up, cycling.
The partnership is expected to help RideAble Now increase awareness of the fund and broaden its reach as the organisation continues to grow its adaptive cycling community.
