BHTA to host networking event for mobility and independent living retailers in Northampton

The British Healthcare Trade Association (BHTA) will be hosting a special event packed with useful information and practical guidance in April 2026 for mobility and independent living retailers.
BHTA Retailers Day will be held on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 from 9.30am to 3.30pm at the Mercure Northampton Hotel in Northampton.
This year’s Retailers’ Day will focus on practical business growth, retail excellence and digital opportunity for independent mobility and independent living retailers.
The keynote will be delivered by Clare Bailey, The Retail Champion, alongside interactive round table sessions covering topics such as making tax returns simpler, improving shop layout, choosing the right social media platforms, and getting online shopping to work effectively.
There will also be a dedicated member product display exhibition running throughout the day, giving retailers the opportunity to explore new products and innovations, alongside extended networking time with peers, speakers and exhibitors. Lunch and refreshments are included.
Kelly Edworthy, Membership Engagement Manager at the BHTA, commented to THIIS: “Retailers’ Day is about making sure our members feel supported and well informed.
“We want to deliver an event that’s genuinely useful – with practical ideas, honest discussion and time to connect with others in the sector. Providing real, tangible value is an important part of BHTA membership, and events like this are a key way we support our retailer community.”
Those interested in attending the event can register here.
The event is free to attend for BHTA members. Non-members are welcome to join and can access a 10 per cent discount on registration using the code THIIS10.
