Autumn debut for new mLite folding mobility scooter enjoys positive initial reaction from the trade
Weighing in at just 17.8kg, Motion Healthcare’s new lightweight mLite folding mobility scooter has been well received by retailers and exceeded expectations, according to the company.
Described as one of the lightest scooters on the market, the mLite uses a quick and simple sliding mechanism to become so compact it will fit in any car boot, says the company. The scooter also includes an extending handle to make it easy to manoeuvre when folded, ideal for when users are travelling away from home.
The easy-to-remove lithium battery pack weighs just 1.85kg and offers onboard or offboard charging, as well as a helpful status indicator to display how much the battery is charged.
Despite its compact size, the mLite boasts an 18 stone weight limit while a height-adjustable tiller and extendable footrest allows users to adjust the device to meet their individual needs.
The new scooter also combines soft solid tyres and a powerful motor to offer users comfort and performance.
