Assistive furniture specialist becomes exclusive retailer of first ever Parker Knoll bed
Specialist chair and bed supplier Oak Tree Mobility has been named the exclusive retail partner for Parker Knoll’s first-ever bed.
This move represents the second collaboration between Oak Tree Mobility and Parker Knoll, following the launch of their rise and recline chair range in May 2024.
The Clifton is a five-point adjustable bed, which means that there are five independent points of movement on the bed base, allowing easy positioning adjustments for the upper body, pelvis, knees, and feet.
As it raises the feet above heart level the bed is also able to help in improving circulation and with a 40st capacity it is suitable for a range of body types.
Fully compatible with Oak Tree Mobility’s made-to-measure range of adjustable beds, the bed is also available with the firm’s recently launched Mammoth foam mattress.
Tom Powell, Co-founder of Oak Tree Mobility said: “We’re thrilled to exclusively offer The Clifton, which is the first-ever adjustable bed from Parker Knoll.
“It’s the perfect blend of Oak Tree Mobility’s made-to-measure comfort and Parker Knoll’s iconic British style, available as a bed for the first time in their 150-year legacy.
“Like with all of our beds, chairs and bath lifts, it comes with a free comprehensive warranty, and customers will have the opportunity to try our beds with our free home appointment service.”
Mike Wyatt, Group Design Director at Parker Knoll said: “All of our furniture is handcrafted in the UK, and our first-ever bed launched in collaboration with Oak Tree Mobility will be no different.
“True to our 150-year heritage and approach to furniture design, The Clifton sleigh bed features exquisite detailing, like the Chesterfield-style buttoned headboard and piped detailing on the sides, making it a striking and stylish centrepiece in any bedroom.”
