EasiLoo by AHMAssisted Health and Mobility Group (AHM), has introduced the EasiLoo, a powered toilet lift designed to support safe, independent toileting without the need for costly adaptations.

The EasiLoo fits over most standard and raised toilets, offering a smooth lift-and-lower function that assists users in sitting down and standing up with ease.

Unlike raised seats and grab bars, the EasiLoo provides a dignified, practical solution that reduces the risk of falls and increases user confidence.

For those requiring additional hygiene support, the EasiLoo Plus offers an integrated bidet, warm air dryer, and heated seat, for improved personal hygiene.EasiLoo by AHM

Paul Groves, National Sales Manager at AHM, explains: “The EasiLoo is a game-changer for individuals who can stand but experience pain, weakness, or limited upper body strength.

“It’s comparable to a riser-recliner chair – if someone needs assistance standing from a seat, they should consider the EasiLoo too.”

Beyond promoting independent toileting, the EasiLoo also reduces caregiver strain, particularly for spouses, family members, and professional carers who may struggle with manual lifting.

In healthcare and medical environments, AHM states that it has also been found to help lower the risk of staff injuries associated with patient transfers, improving efficiency and safety.

With an ever-ageing population innovative solutions that promote safety and independence whether at home or in a care setting are essential.EasiLoo by AHM

Its research has found that falls are a serious risk for people aged 65 and over in the UK, with one in three experiencing a fall each year. Many of these incidents occur in the bathroom, particularly while using the toilet, due to reduced mobility, muscle weakness, or loss of balance.

In care and medical settings, the impact of falls can be substantial, leading to increased hospital admissions, prolonged recovery times, and additional strain on healthcare resources.

Each year falls result in over 220,000 hospital admissions, with hip fractures alone affecting 76,000 older adults. Additionally, 40 per cent of care home admissions are linked to falls, which are the second leading cause of injury-related deaths in this age group.

AHM has a nationwide support network across England and Wales which offers tailored packages for healthcare providers, mobility retailers, and care professionals.

These include demonstration sessions for hands-on trials, installation service and advice and display materials to highlight key benefits to customer and patients.

Mobility retailers interested to learn more or arrange a demo session are invited to contact Paul Groves on 07399 840033.
