Inspire Community Equipment Services

On the 22nd January 2020, Apex Medical entered into an agreement to sell its rental, managed service & decontamination business that operates exclusively out of its Crayford Office to community equipment and wheelchair services provider Inspire Community Trust (Inspire).

The latest sale will now see Apex Medical focus on the manufacture and sale of its specialist medical beds and pressure care mattresses to the UK community and acute market spaces, whilst Inspire will add the repairs & service, decontamination, managed service and rentals capability to its existing portfolio of services.

Operating from its Independent Living Centre in Slade Green, Kent, the community trust runs a number of services in the London Borough of Bexley on behalf of the Council and the NHS Commissioners, including the Integrated Community Equipment Services, Wheelchair Services and OT services for housing assessment and adaptations.
