Annual Business Conference praises achievements of Ableworld business owners in the UK and future plans for the retailer
The UK’s largest mobility retailer, Ableworld, recently held its annual Business Conference at the Wychwood Park Hotel in Cheshire, with the theme based around ‘Trusted Traders – Service you can Trust.’
Beginning with dinner and an awards ceremony, the event celebrated the achievements of Ableworld’s business owners across the UK, along with a preview of a new corporate video outlining the level of support that Ableworld Head Office staff give to business owners. Entertainment for the evening included a large Scalextric track which added a fun and competitive element to the conference.
The next day, the conference was busy with internal and external speakers, including some from the mobility industry, who emphasised how much potential there is in the market. Directors from both Stiltz Homelifts and Drive Devilbiss Healthcare spoke at the conference.
Drive’s Grant Abrahams made the key point that: “In the UK Retail Market, three quarters of private sales still go through bricks and mortar stores.”
Throughout the day, delegates also heard from Ableworld’s own in-house occupational therapist Jayne Tarling who highlighted the benefits and value that OTs can bring to Ableworld stores.
Ian Kelsall, from Insight 6, also gave a presentation on the importance of customer experience along with the work he has been doing with Ableworld for the past few years.
Representatives from Codestone also gave a presentation, who will be heading up the upcoming implementation of Ableworlds’ new till and retail management system.
The day ended with Ableworld discussing all the successes of 2018 as well as its plans for 2019.
According to Ableworld, the business conference was well received with delegates inspired and excited for the year ahead.
Ableworld Southampton Franchisee Steven Newman said: “I’m so proud to be part of Ableworld, we really are going from strength to strength.”
Donna Wilson, Ableworld Lincoln and Ableworld Newark Franchisee, added: “Support from Head Office has been second to none, there’s fantastic things in the pipeline and a bright future ahead with Ableworld.”https://thiis.co.uk/annual-business-conference-praises-achievements-of-ableworld-business-owners-in-the-uk/https://thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/IMG_2715.jpghttps://thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/IMG_2715-150x150.jpgNewsroomRetailer NewsAbleworld,Ableworld Annual Business Conference,Ableworld Annual Business Conference 2019,Drive DeVilbiss healthcare,Mobility Industry,Mobility retail, mobility retailer, mobility store,Stiltz HomeliftsThe UK’s largest mobility retailer, Ableworld, recently held its annual Business Conference at the Wychwood Park Hotel in Cheshire, with the theme based around ‘Trusted Traders – Service you can Trust.’ Beginning with dinner and an awards ceremony, the event celebrated the achievements of Ableworld’s business owners across the UK,...Sarah SarsbySarah Sarsbysarah@thiis.co.ukAdministratorTHIIS Magazine
