Anglia Stairlifts kickstarts 2022 with recruitment drive and a new fleet of vans
2022 promises to be an exciting year for Peterborough-based Anglia Stairlifts as it launches a recruitment drive and invests in a new fleet of vans.
The firm, which was taken over by a new management team in July 2021, offers installation, servicing and repairs of stairlifts and homelifts. It employs eleven members of staff, seven of which are fully qualified engineers.
As part of this investment, Anglia Stairlifts has announced that a new fleet of vans has been ordered with delivery due in the first quarter of 2022 and plans are in place to also recruit several new members of staff.
As part of its commitment to the local area, Anglia Stairlifts is also looking into set up a training scheme to help youngsters take their first steps to becoming a stairlift engineer.
This would include gaining an NVQ2 qualification to stand them in good stead for a future career in the stairlift industry.
Steve Wilson, director of Anglia Stairlifts, explains: “2022 is going to be all about investment here at Anglia Stairlifts – something which has been lacking in recent years.
“Through this investment, combined with a strong leadership team we believe that 2022 will be the best year to date in the history of the company.”
