All Wheels Up partners with MK Battery to support its mission for accessible air travel
Mobility battery supplier MK Battery has announced that it is sponsoring All Wheels Up (AWU) and supporting the charity’s mission to make air travel accessible for everyone.
AWU is tackling one of the biggest gaps in transportation accessibility – and works to ensure wheelchair users remain in their own wheelchairs during commercial flights. Its work in research, advocacy, and collaboration across airlines, manufacturers, and policymakers is driving real, overdue change.
MK Battery’s sponsorship helps fund All Wheels Up’s efforts to create a more inclusive travel environment, ensuring people with mobility needs can travel more freely and safely.
Since 1983, MK has been supplying battery products globally. It specialises in sealed AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) and Gel batteries that power wheelchairs, mobility scooters, patient lifts, and more, crucial for daily independence and approved for air transport.
