Canada Daymak Boomerbeast

Canadian manufacturer Daymak has followed up the recent launch of its fully-enclosed mobility scooter range with the launch of its new Boomerbeast 2 collection and says it is now looking to establish exclusive retail partners globally.

The latest range from the Toronto-based supplier of mobility vehicles comes in three models – the Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate – and builds upon the company’s previous Boomerbeast collection.

“We have improved the overall design of the Boomerbeast,” commented Aldo Baiocchi, President of Daymak.

“We have lowered the unit base and reduced its length for a more stable and comfortable ride. We have also increased the battery size and range up to 50km, even on the lowest configuration.”

According to the North American manufacturer, the premium Boomerbeast Ultimate model can be fully recharged in just 20minutes, due to the model’s 60v25ah lithium-titanate battery (also referred to as LTO).

Stating the fast-charging battery has 20,000 charge cycles, the company’s Ultimate model also boasts a powerful 1200w motor, providing high torque in order to climb steep inclines, as well as a fully adjustable leather seat supporting users up to 150 kg (330 lbs).

“With a life cycle of 50 years and charging time of 20 minutes from empty to full, this is the most advanced mobility scooter on the planet and is a proudly Canadian-developed product,” continued Aldo.

The Boomerbeast Deluxe features 60v40ah lithium-ion battery to achieve a potential 60km range, whilst Daymak’s Standard version comes with 60v30ah lead acid battery pack to provide a 50km range.

The scooters feature 10inch wide tyres, enabling the vehicles to negotiate off-road conditions and terrains and a range of optional upgrades, including leather seating, a rear rack, different battery options, alarm system, digital speedometer and more.

In addition, users can control the performance of the scooter using the company’s Daymak Drive app, enabling riders to personalise and adjust settings such as torque, range, and acceleration.

Currently, the Standard and Deluxe models are available for purchase in Canada and the US, with the Ultimate titanate version expected to become available in 2020.

Speaking with Aldo earlier in the year, he told THIIS that the company would be keen to work with a distributor to introduce its models to the growing UK mobility market, stating that it designs its products to catch the eye of shoppers entering a mobility showroom.
