Alerta Medical launches new tilt-in-space shower chair for users with limited mobility
Medical equipment manufacturer Alerta Medical has added a new tilt-in-space shower chair to its range of Aqua chairs which can be used for showering, transferring and as a mobile commode.
The Alerta Aqua Tilt-In-Space Hi-Lo Shower Commode Chair has an adjustment controlled by gas spring for the seat angle for active and passive seating and is designed for repeated use. It benefits from four braked castors, adjustable seat height, multi-angle directional and height adjustable head support, adjustable and detachable footrests. It also benefits from armrests, rear anti-tip bars, and width and angle adjustable pivoting upper body side supports with quick release.

Other shower commode chairs in the range include the Alerta Aqua Chair, which can be used for showering, transferring and as a mobile commode. The pot can be removed and the chair can also be wheeled to the toilet, making this a very easy to use toileting chair.
The Alerta Aqua is manoeuvrable and manufactured from easy to clean plastic coated steel. It also features a five-position footrest, four individually braked wheels and removeable arms.
The Alerta Aqua Chair, Self-Propelled has a lot of the same features as the Alerta Aqua Chair, with one of the main differences being that it is self-propelled. This allows for the user to be more independent despite that showering and toileting difficulties.
