Alerta Medical launches ‘cutting edge’ lateral turning air mattress for versatile pressure relief
Medical equipment manufacturer Alerta Medical has announced the launch of a lateral turning alternating air mattress.
The new Alerta Ruby Turn has simple-to-use settings and functionality, enabling the care provider to quickly set up the mattress system and have it operating with programable, user unique, lateral turning, and optimal pressure for a specific user with ease.
The lateral Ruby Turn has the latest cutting-edge lateral turning technology, enhancing patient care.
With timer and turning degree programable lateral turning and left, right and dual turning options, it offers personalised tailored care options, enhancing positioning and pressure relief for those at very high risk of pressure sore development.
Features include adjustable rotation modes with angle control, a constant low pressure mode, pillow function and independently removable air cells.
It has a robust pump connection which comes with ‘ultra-silent’ pump operation. Offering both CPR release and a multi-way stretch, waterproof and vapour-permeable PU cover its maximum user weight is 230kg.
