Alerta Medical launches all-inclusive range of bed rail padding products
Medical equipment manufacturer Alerta Medical has launched an all-inclusive range of bed rail padding products.
Alerta states that its entire bed rail bumper range is phthalate free – made with PU (polyurethane fabric) instead of PVC due to risks of phthalates with PVC. Phthalate free bed protection gives patients extra protection, according to Alerta, because is safer, higher quality and serves a longer lifetime.
PU is also breathable, stretchy, waterproof, phthalate free, antibacterial and flame retardant.
The Bed Bumper Range includes a two-bar rail bumper with netting (20cm extended available), a three-bar rail bumper with netting, full-length bed rail bumpers, two-bar rail anti-entrapment bumpers with netting, and a head & foot board protector.
