AKW to host charity golf day in support of Warrington Disability Partnership
Accessible showering and kitchen solutions provider AKW has announced that spaces are now available for its charity Golf Day in support of Warrington Disability Partnership, an organisation dedicated to improving accessibility and independence for disabled people.
The charity golf day will take place at Houghwood Golf at St Helens on 16 June 2026, with a range of competitions, sponsorship opportunities and fundraising activities planned throughout the day.
Limited spaces are available, and interested attendees are being encouraged to reserve places by completing the form and emailing it to vmoorton@akw-ltd.co.uk to secure your place.
The event will include a charity raffle as part of the fundraising activity, alongside an auction highlight featuring a four-ball round at Houghwood Golf Club. Organisers are also running a full competitions schedule designed to appeal to a wide range of players.
Competitions on the day will include a Stableford team event, with a maximum handicap of 24 for men and 36 for ladies, as well as a Yellow Ball Team Competition.
There will also be two Nearest the Pin challenges, one Longest Drive competition and a Beat the Pro contest. Buggies will be available to hire on the day.
A number of pricing options are available for those wishing to take part or support the event. Entry for a four-ball team is priced at £425, while individual entry is available at £125 per person. Hole sponsorship is available for £150.
An event sponsorship package is also being offered at £1,500. This includes hole sponsorship and joint headline sponsorship of Warrington Disability Partnership.
AKW recently announced plans to relocate its premises and operational facilities to a significantly larger building aon the Berry Hill Industrial Estate.
