AKW pushes to be a fully one-stop-shop for accessible bathroom installers with new range
AKW, a provider of accessibility solutions, has introduced a new plumbing fittings range to its AKW One service for installers and specifiers, in the company’s quest to be a comprehensive one-stop-shop supplier.
Available from June in convenient pack sizes, the new addition of plumbing and pipe fittings is aimed at enabling those specifying and installing accessible bathrooms to be able to order exactly what is needed for the project.
The range includes compression and copper pipe fittings, as well as plastic push fit tubes and fittings. In addition, AKW has incorporated tap connection flexi-hoses, Solvent Weld waste fittings and a selection of isolator valves into the range for what it describes as ultimate flexibility.
Stuart Reynolds, Head of Product and Marketing at AKW, commented: “By adding the plumbing and fittings range to our AKW One product offering, we continue to help our customers achieve the perfect installation every time. As well as being able to order everything from one location, we have calculated that installers who use this service will save approximately £100 per job when using AKW One.”
Building its portfolio to ensure it can supply installers and specifiers with everything needed to complete an accessible bathroom project from one location, the AKW One service offering includes showers, trays, formers, screens, seats, grab rails and waste pumps, as well as brassware, sanitaryware, wall panels and bathroom furniture.
Recently, AKW expanded the range to include safety flooring, lighting, tiles, timber, plywood and now plumbing and pipe fittings.
