AKW Livenza range
Accessibility solutions provider AKW has launched its new sanitaryware range, Livenza Plus, which aims to bring versatility and flexibility to installers and end users with mobility needs.

From the sleek toilet, soft-close seats and stylish basins, to the flush, seat and tap options, there is a solution to meet every need, AKW has developed Livenza Plus with style and functionality in mind.

The toilet has a rimless pan, which helps prevent the build-up of bacteria, making it easier to clean. There is also a toilet seat option made from a highly durable, stain resistant and easy to clean UF (Urea-Formaldehyde).

The range’s basins have been designed with flat tap decks, making the surfaces easier to keep clean and their rounded edges also offer added protection in the event of any end user trips or falls.

The Livenza Plus collection has also been designed with ease of installation in mind. It includes a bottom inlet water entry to simplify pipework when fitting the WC and also incorporating a horizontal outlet to increase installation speed.

The Livenza Plus is fully compliant with UK water and British Standard regulations. It has BS EN 997 approval for improved flush performance, and an overflow pipe that has been increased to 300ml to meet current water regulation requirements, making it an efficient sanitaryware option.

The toilet also has a bottom water entry inlet with a one piece, visible top-fill water inlet valve, with an all-round air gap, ensuring it is one of the only fully compliant products on the market today.

Stuart Reynolds, Head of Product and Marketing at AKW said: “Our AKW Livenza Plus range takes our original Livenza range a step further.

“As well as being designed with safety and style in mind, the new range is also quick and easy to fit, has been approved for use on contract specification and can also be ordered as part of our ‘AKW One’ easy ordering service.

“Our focus on safety, style and ease of installation ensures that the Livenza Plus range is ideal for those who are looking for an independent living solution yet want a stylish addition to their bathroom or wet room.”

AKW, whose clients include the majority of local authorities, housing associations as well as national and regional contractors, recently launched a wheelchair-accessible shower cubicle that can be installed to suit both wheelchair and non-wheelchair users.
