AJM Healthcare gains coveted CECOPS accreditation for community equipment and wheelchair services
A provider of various mobility solutions to the NHS, local authorities and individuals across the UK, AJM Healthcare has gained CECOPS Corporate Accreditation for its community equipment, integrated wheelchair services and approved repairer services.
The mobility company is one of the leading integrated wheelchair service providers for the NHS, delivering services to a population of over 2 million. Now, this latest accreditation highlights AJM Healthcare’s commitment to delivering quality community equipment and wheelchair services and improving standards.
CECOPS (Community Equipment Code of Practice Scheme) is an independent, user-led standards and accreditation body for assistive technology services, working with over 200 services across the UK.
Aimed at organisations with a responsibility for commissioning or providing assistive technology services, CECOPS introduces, promotes and maintains high standards of services.
CECOPS accreditation is a regular feature in service specifications for assistive technology services and is a way of assuring commissioners that services are meeting the best outcome-based quality and performance related standards in the sector.
Now, AJM Healthcare has gained CECOPS Corporate Accreditation for its community equipment and integrated wheelchair services.
CECOPS CEO Brian Donnelly said: “It is very encouraging to see the growing interest in our Corporate Accreditation programme and the value that it brings to services.
“It is great news that AJM has achieved Corporate Accreditation status for its community equipment and integrated wheelchair services contracts. Their commitment to quality and improving standards is impressive. Well done!”
Providing over 20 services nationwide, AJM Healthcare ensures high-quality services to increase independence, choice and control, whilst offering commissioners a cost-effective and efficient solution.
Stephen Peck, Managing Director of AJM Healthcare, commented: “Our main aim is to deliver a good quality service on behalf of our stakeholders, service users and carers.
“Gaining the prestigious CECOPS Corporate Accreditation has helped us immensely in achieving our aim and it provides external validation on our commitment to continuously improving. The CECOPS assessment process was very thorough and commendable and we gained a lot from the experience.”
In November 2019, CECOPS built on its accreditation model by introducing a new grading system for assistive technology services throughout the UK to help drive up quality, safety, performance and user experience in the expanding sector.https://thiis.co.uk/ajm-healthcare-gains-coveted-cecops-accreditation-for-community-equipment-and-wheelchair-services/https://i0.wp.com/thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/AJM-Healthcare-CECOPS-corrected.jpg?fit=1024%2C768&ssl=1https://i0.wp.com/thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/AJM-Healthcare-CECOPS-corrected.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1NewsroomSupplier NewsTrade NewsAJM Healthcare,CECOPS,CECOPS accreditation,CECOPS Corporate Accreditation, community equipment service,Mobility company, mobility equipment, mobility service, wheelchair serviceA provider of various mobility solutions to the NHS, local authorities and individuals across the UK, AJM Healthcare has gained CECOPS Corporate Accreditation for its community equipment, integrated wheelchair services and approved repairer services.
