AJM expands presence with two brand new units following recent contract win
Community equipment specialist AJM Healthcare has leased two new units in the Cambridgeshire area in a bid to serve local clients after securing a major contact.
The deal was confirmed by local property agent Barker Storey Matthews, which said that AJM Healthcare is the latest occupier at the Kingfisher Court in Hinchingbrooke Business Park, Huntingdon.
AJM, an accredited supplier to the NHS and local authority care providers, has leased Units 5 and 6 at the newly-built Court. The units’ combined light industrial and office space of will enable AJM to establish its presence in the region.
The recent contract for the NHS Wheelchair Service for Adults and Children across Derbyshire was awarded to AJM, which will see the company deliver services to a population of over two million.
Barker Storey Matthews believes that the combination of “quality,” new light industrial and office space, and the location of the development have been key in attracting AJM.
Richard Adam, Director of Barker Storey Matthews Huntingdon, commented: “In meeting recruitment and their clients’ requirements, all the companies with whom we’ve dealt at Kingfisher Court and Falcon Court referenced the need to be close to strategic road networks.
“Occupiers are looking to the Huntingdon area in an anticipation of the completion of the A14 upgrade. Those in place already – particularly at Kingfisher and Falcon Courts – will be among the first to gain from the much improved arterial and local road networks.”
