Active Design launches new postural seating course to support clinicians and therapists
Specialist postural seating and mobility solutions provider Active Design has announced the launch of its new postural seating course, designed to support healthcare professionals in advancing their knowledge and skills in postural care.
The course builds on Active Design’s reputation for delivering high-quality education in this field, having previously been known for its respected Chailey Approach to Postural Management training.
A free pilot session of the new one-day programme will run on 23 October at the Active Design headquarters in Birmingham.
Active Design plans to roll out additional sessions in 2026, with opportunities for occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to attend.

The course will cover key topics including assessment, positioning, intervention strategies, and equipment solutions, supported by practical demonstrations using Active Design’s market-leading seating systems.
