Access BDD unveils new platform lift to the North American mobility market
Stockton-on-Tees-based mobility solutions provider Access BDD recently took the decision to expand the range of access solutions available through its US dealer network.
Following its debut at last year’s event Access BDD utilised its appearance at this year’s NAEC (National Association of Elevator Contractors Convention) to unveil the Supra Linea Platform Lift to the North American market.
Melissa Davies, Access BDD’s Head of Business Development for North America, commented: “After experiencing significant success with our stairlifts in North America over the past couple of years, we anticipated that the Supra Linea Platform Lift would be well-received.
“However, the level of interest at the show surpassed all our expectations. Throughout the event, the Supra Linea attracted crowds, with many existing dealers mentioning they already had potential customers in mind for when it becomes available in 2025.
“The event provided not only an excellent opportunity to launch the Supra Linea but also to showcase the HomeGlide stairlift and the Flow X stairlift in both curved and straight configurations. Additionally, we connected with many existing dealers from across North America and established valuable new relationships.”
The Supra Linea platform lift is manufactured to meet the needs of customers who demand the best comfort and quality and offers a superb solution for a straight staircase with a constant gradient.
It is designed for installation on staircases, both indoors and outdoors. It offers optional push-button controls, along with a variety of parking options and platform sizes, making it ideal for busy environments where space is limited. Made from high-quality components, the Supra Linea features an ergonomically designed seat and foldaway arms for enhanced comfort.
Its design allows it to seamlessly fit into any commercial or domestic setting. Additionally, it is UL Certified and complies with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the EN 81-40:2020 standards.
Access BDD specialises in manufacturing and supplying innovative stairlifts, home lifts and platform lifts that have been designed to enhance the quality of life for people with reduced mobility and enable them to live more independently within the home.
Earlier this year, Access BDD announced a significant stride in its expansion into the US and Canadian stairlift market by adding four experienced professionals to its team.
