Access BDD brand makeover image

Stairlift and homelift supplier Access BDD has had a dramatic brand makeover, with an aim of reflecting the company’s position as a provider of luxurious and innovative products.

Working in partnership with design agency Better, Access BDD has developed a forward-looking brand, with neutral colouring and classic fonts. As befits a company that supplies only to the trade, the Access BDD name and logo now take a discreet backseat, with attention being directed firmly on the products themselves.

The brand has been enhanced with a new approach to product photography, showing clean and simple images with lots of close-up details. A new logo retains the upwards arrow from the former brand running up through the letters, and forms the basis for a stylish new custom font. A monochrome colour scheme gives the brand a contemporary look and provides an elegant framework for displaying the products.

Marketing Manager Adam Wakes explained: “We looked at how leading consumer technology brands present themselves, and then we looked at luxury product branding, and what we’ve created is a fusion of those two concepts, giving us something that we think is a really fresh and unique look for the home mobility market.”

Adam added that the rebrand sits within Access BDD’s strategy to become easier to do business with: “The brand is the visible side of some exciting developments in the way we work with our partners. It also enhances the luxury styling of our new Altura home lift range.”

On a practical level, brochures and other promotional material have been designed to present information in a clearer and more attractive way, and will give partners a powerful tool when presenting Access BDD products to their customers.

The new brand was launched to great acclaim during Access BDD’s first ever UK partner day, held at the National Space Centre in Leicester and will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

Adam concluded: “We were delighted with the reception the new brand received, and we’re excited about what it means for the future of Access BDD and our partner network.”
