Ableworld to stock new carbon mobility scooter from Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare
National mobility retailer Ableworld has announced that it is the first mobility retailer in the UK to stock the new Jiffy Carbon Mobility Scooter from Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare.
Available in its stores from today, the Jiffy Carbon Scooter offers a sleek, foldable solution for users who want portability without compromising on comfort or performance.
Ableworld states that it is proud to be the first retailer in the UK to have the Jiffy Carbon in stock, making it available to its customers both in store and online from launch.
As the name suggests, the Jiffy Carbon is built using ultra-lightweight carbon fibre, making it one of the lightest mobility scooters available in its category.
Weighing in at just under 15.4 kg, including batteries, it’s designed for easy lifting into car boots, public transport, and even plane cabins – ideal for travel and everyday convenience.
The scooter features a quick folding mechanism, allowing users to fold and store it in seconds, along with a modern, minimalist design that combines practicality with style.
Despite its lightweight frame, the Jiffy Carbon has been designed to offer a smooth, stable performance and a comfortable ride for short to medium trips.
Tony Leavy, Buying Director at Ableworld, commented: “We’re really excited about the launch of the Jiffy Carbon.
“It’s a fantastic option for customers who value independence, travel frequently, or simply want something that’s stylish and easy to manage. We believe this model will be a real hit.”
Tony also added that this model reflects a growing demand in-store: “This is exactly what our customers have been asking for – something lightweight, compact, portable, and easy to lift. We’re proud to be working with Drive DeVilbiss and bringing it to the UK market.”
Available from today, the Jiffy Carbon will be on display in all Ableworld stores and available for Click & Collect online, with a launch price of £2,995 excluding VAT.
In recent news, Ableworld held its annual Store Managers Conference in Crewe recently where cybersecurity was a major topic of discussion.
