AbleDay looks to redefine the end-user buying journey following launch at Naidex 2026

AbleDay Mobility Group, a new cooperative distribution network for UK-based independently-owned mobility shops, launched at Naidex 2026 recently.
AbleDay’s network was established to address a growing challenge for consumers: while online shopping offers convenience and competitive pricing, mobility products often require personal advice, demonstration and trusted after-sales support.
Products will be marketed nationally through a national e-commerce platform, with orders and enquiries intelligently routed to the customer’s local AbleDay partner.
The company’s model is designed to offer the consumer transparent online pricing, with local product demonstrations, in-home assessments, delivery and set-up by trusted independent specialists who are part of the network and who can offer local after-sales and servicing support.
The buying journey is a “cost-effective buying and selling solution”, according to AbleDay, allowing independent mobility retailers to compete with online prices.
AbleDay is currently building a national collaborative retail network in the UK designed to bring together local expertise with the convenience and reach of modern ecommerce.
Following extensive discussions with retailers, suppliers and technology partners at Naidex, the company says that it is now moving rapidly toward completing its initial 20-partner cornerstone network across the UK.

At the same time, AbleDay states that it is also progressing a number of strategic alliances with UK distribution partners and retail technology providers, designed to strengthen both product availability and the digital infrastructure that will support its national rollout.
Sam Cameron, Founder and Director of AbleDay Mobility Group, commented: “The response we received at Naidex was incredibly encouraging, not just from retailers but from the wider industry.
“What excites people most is the customer proposition — bringing together the ease of ecommerce with the trust, reassurance and expertise of local mobility specialists.
“Customers should not have to choose between convenience and confidence. AbleDay is designed to give them both.”
Rather than functioning as a traditional wholesaler, AbleDay is also building its own branded range of lightweight mobility products — including scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs and rollators — sourced directly from manufacturers and selected strategic UK distribution partners.
The initial product range will focus on lightweight mobility solutions, reflecting increasing consumer demand for portable, car-transportable and travel-friendly products.
The launch range will prioritise lightweight folding mobility scooters, compact powerchairs, aluminium and carbon-fibre rollators and lightweight manual wheelchairs.
AbleDay states that these products are ideally suited to the hybrid e-commerce-plus-local-support model, as customers can research online and still access local demonstrations before purchasing.
A limited number of cornerstone territories remain available for independent mobility retailers looking to strengthen their margins and compete more effectively online.
