Apex Medical have announced that 15 Millercare branches in the north west of England have signed up to become an Apex Partner, a community-focused initiative to enable more mobility retailers to access its rotational chair bed range.

The Partner Programme was developed in October 2020 by Apex Medical Ltd (Apex) to enable mobility retailers to expand their product portfolio with the Rota-pro rotational chair bed range and generate a lucrative new revenue stream.

Greg Whelan, Marketing & Product Manager at Apex exclusively told THIIS that Apex is thrilled that Millercare is the latest mobility retail group to join the Apex Partner Programme.

“With extensive coverage of 15 retail stores in the north west we are really excited to welcome Millercare as the latest trusted partner to the Apex Global Family and to our innovative Rota-pro® Rotational Chair Bed range and of course other exciting new products that we will be launching in the UK over the coming months.

“Millercare have been established in the North West for nearly 70 years so they are well respected and known in the region with a loyal customer base that will benefit from the increasing portfolio of products that the Rota-pro brings.

“With ongoing training and support from Apex, Millercare will be well placed to offer their customers great service and user experience with the products”.

Yorkshire Care Equipment was announced as the first stockist partner in the Apex Partner Programme in November 2020, a store which supplies a range of mobility products to customers in the Yorkshire area.

The programme gives a partner the choice of one of two schemes: referral or stockist. The referral option means that Apex takes over the sales process once a referral has been made and provides the referral partner with a referral fee if the customer chooses to make the purchase.

If a partner becomes a stockist, the partner will purchase their first product and then manage the customer and sales process, delivering the service and support directly to the customer and getting the value of the sale of the goods.

According to Apex, the benefit of the programme is that companies can join initially as a referral partner and then have the freedom to move across to becoming a stockist when it’s right for their business.

To be considered as an Apex Partner within the Apex Partner Programme, mobility companies are advised to contact Apex’s team to discuss the scheme on 01905 774695 or e-mail apexpartner@apexmedicalcorp.co.uk  to arrange an initial discussion with a local regional manager.
