BHTA commences search for new Director General

The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) has begun the search for a new Director-General following the resignation of Tracey White as she moves on to her new role as the CEO of the Institution of Lighting Professionals. The closing date for applications is the 3rd March 2018.

The Association is seeking an exceptional candidate to be their next Director General for the BHTA Group of businesses, driving the BHTA forward as it continues to lead the representation of its members’ interests to key stakeholders inside and outside the industry.

The oldest trade association in the healthcare and assistive technology industry, the BHTA celebrated its centenary last year and works to promote its members’ role as key to a robust and effective healthcare environment.

Originally joining the BHTA in 2012 as Commercial Director, Tracey became the Association’s Director-General in March 2015, following on from Ray Hodgkinson MBE who is now the BHTA’s Director of Public Affairs.

Tracey commented: "It has been my pleasure to lead the team at the BHTA. I would like to take this opportunity to thank; you as Chairman, the staff team, Board and Council and the wider membership for everyone’s support and the opportunity to serve as your Director General for the past three years.”
