The Mobility Store relocates engineering facility to meet increased demand

Following an increase in its volume of customers, The Mobility Store – the trading name of the Hearing & Mobility Store Ltd – has moved to a new, larger engineering facility in Wroughton, Swindon.

Originally located in Basset Down, the company outgrew the space as its client base continued to grow, leading the Mobility Store to move to the new 2,546 sq. ft unit in Wroughton Business Park.

The new unit, used to service the mobility aids the company sells, is set to triple the mobility retailer’s capabilities.

Property consultants Alder King agreed the terms with The Mobility Store which has now taken on a five-year lease on the property.

James Gregory, Partner at Alder King in Swindon, commented: "This unit will provide The Mobility Store with good quality long-term engineering and storage space as well as a small office area.”

Established in 2008, The Mobility Store supplies a wide range of mobility, hearing and disability aids across five stores in South West England.

James added: "The property is in excellent condition, with generous car parking and easy access to the M4.  It sits in a prominent roadside location on Wroughton Business Park which itself benefits from easy access on to the M4 via junction 16.”
