Self-balance wheelchair proves Best in Show at Crufts

Nino, the innovative self-balance wheelchair, grabbed attention when user Sue White competed at 2018’s Crufts, the world’s leading dog show.

The Nino is operated by simply leaning forward to go and leaning back to stop, allowing end-users such as Sue to completely focus on the task at hand because of its intuitive controls.

The device also uses auto-stabilising technology and inbuilt electronics to manage the stability, ensuring the user is in control at all times.

Providing incredible manoeuvrability with a tight turning-axis, Sue was able to match the agility and intelligence of her dog as she guided her dog through the course effortlessly.

The Nino will be exhibited by BHTA-member John Preston Healthcare, a supplier of homecare, medical and mobility products in the UK and Ireland, at this year’s Naidex at the NEC in Birmingham on the 25/26 April 2018 at Stand #8180

With mobility showrooms in Northern Ireland and Scotland, as well as product specialists in England, the company also offers home demos as well.
