New ‘TGA Living’ showroom in Surrey to launch this May

Previously operating under the Hexagon Healthcare moniker, TGA Mobility will reopen its Surrey store under its ‘TGA Living’ brand, bringing it in line with the parent brand.

Managed by TGA Mobility, a nationwide specialist in mobility scooters, the Farnham showroom was closed in early April as its original Hexagon Healthcare branding was overhauled.

Situated between Farnham and Farnborough, the company says the premises is one of the largest mobility showrooms in Surrey, providing ample parking and level floor access leading directly into the store.

Highlighting the importance of talking face-to-face with customers in order to provide the right advice and products, TGA says having residents be able to touch and test products are the reason why it invested in the store during a period when many high street retail stores are closing.

Daniel Stone, Managing Director of TGA, commented: "The opening of our rebranded and re-modelled showroom is all about being more customer-centric. Our team and original store were welcoming and easy to access however here at TGA we are always looking to enhance service even further. This is why we have improved our front door access along with lighting, showroom layout and decor – resulting in a better customer experience, irrespective of ability. This coincides with our new status as a Dementia friendly business that carefully considers showroom design in accordance with recommendations from the Alzheimer’s Society. From an overall reassurance point of view, our Farnham showroom now displays the TGA name which is synonymous with outstanding service and customer satisfaction across the UK. This will give all locals, living with restricted mobility, the confidence to venture outdoors or enjoy greater independence at home through ownership of quality, dependable products.”

The original store closed for refurbishment on 7th April 2018

Selling a range of aids to daily living, stairlifts, wheelchairs, walkers, riser recliners, as well as mobility scooters, the newly branded TGA Living showroom will look to benefit and build on TGA’s brand in the market.

Celebrating a decade in business, the retail store will be reopened by the Mayor of Farnham, Councillor Mike Hodge, on the 22nd May at an event which will also see a number of charities and companies in the industry in attendance.

A cake sale will be held to raise money for Parkinson’s UK and representatives from the Alzheimer's Society, Right at Home, Driving Miss Daisy and Baker Law Solicitors will also be on hand to provide advice.

Adapted car specialists Autochair will also be at the launch day to demonstrate its latest range of scooter car boot hoists and innovative solutions that transfer users from a wheelchair into a car seat.

Additionally, attendees at the launch event will have an opportunity to win a TGA Zest mobility scooter worth £1895. There will also be 25% off all new products within the store from 22nd – 24th May, along with a range of Approved Used mobility scooters at special prices.
