New product demo videos to help retailers digitally merchandise

Shine International, a worldwide supplier of shopfitting and aid for daily living (ADL) products, has produced a number of product demonstration videos to help retailers promote and market the products to customers online.

The company has produced 19 videos showing the products in use and displaying their unique benefits on its YouTube channel, which retailers are able to link to or embed into their own websites.

William Styles, General Manager of Shine International Limited, told THIIS: "The videos are an effective way for end-users to really see how the products work without seeing the physical product in the store.

"This is great for our retailers because it gives them a useful marketing tool to use on their websites that will encourage customers to buy and gives end-users more information to help them make the right purchase.”

In a 2015 survey by Animoto, it was revealed that four out of five customers believed that demo videos were useful in the buying process and the majority of consumers found it helpful to watch a product video more than once before making a purchase.

Established in 1992, Shine International produces a range of ADL products, including aids to be used in the home, dressing aids, reading and writing aids, bathing aids and more. The company also sells a range of shopfittings for retailers, including wall column systems, centre floor stands and mannequins.

William added: "The videos are just one of the ways we are helping to support our dealers. We are also releasing a number of new products in the coming months that will be of real interest to the industry as well.”
