Field Service Engineer- Leicestershire

The Client

Our client established for 20 years. Offering products and servicing which includes wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walking aids and stair lifts to the public via their mobility store in Leicestershire. A successful mobility supplier, having won several certificates and accolades for their success.

The Role

They are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer or Trainee Service Engineer in the Leicestershire area to service their products both in store and at the customer's premises. Working around 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 9pm-5: 30pm including some Saturdays. You will be servicing products such as rise recliners, mobility scooters, wheelchairs, stair lifts, bathing equipment and hoists.

Training will be given on products where required. When not servicing products, you will be expected to assist in the local store these duties will include: Telephone communication with clients, potential clients and suppliers: Admin duties by both computer and paper methods: Sales of mobility and medical aids ranging from walking sticks through to electric wheelchairs: Deliveries and installations: Helping and advising clients looking for assistance with their disabilities.

The Candidate

Someone with experience of servicing similar products will be advantageous although not essential providing you have either some servicing/engineering experience or a keen desire to learn and technically minded. Must be able to offer good customer service, have a calm and caring attitude. Must have a full UK driving Licence. DBS check will be carried out.

The Package

Base salary is dependent on experience and can range from £17,100 to £20,000 but is negotiable, plus £3k bonus based on company performance, a van will be supplied to carry out servicing visits. auto enrolment pension, 28 days holiday.
