John Alimi Stiltz Homelifts

The vision for the next generation of homelifts is all about tailoring the product to the individual users’ needs, according to Stiltz Homelifts’ newly-appointed Product Manager, John Alimi.

Joining the homelift manufacturer at its Kingswinford HQ, John will help the company to develop new innovation as it continues to rapidly expand its research and development team in the West Midlands.

Having recently gained a Master’s degree in Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management from the University of Cambridge, John says that dealers should expect to see future products driven by innovation and customer insights.

“One of my core objectives is for customer insight and human behaviour trends to inform the next generation of Stiltz Homelifts,” he explained.

“This, together with embracing technology to drive effectiveness and efficiency will mean we continue to provide customers with the best product experience possible.”

With experience in the healthcare, building services and audio technology sectors, the new product manager admitted he was adamant that joining Stiltz Homelifts would be the best move for him.

“I was particularly impressed with how Stiltz has spearheaded the development of a fledgeling market,” said John.

“The rapid growth of a completely new product category such as homelifts within the mobility, or indeed other traditional manufacturing industry, was almost unheard of.”

Highlighting that the company’s leadership team, as well as its values and energy, also played a key role in his decision to join the mobility supplier, he added that the relatively young product range still has a lot of scope to be developed further.

“The design has evolved significantly since the introduction of the first generation of homelifts,” John finished.

“I expect them to continue to improve incrementally in terms of design and functionality, becoming increasingly tailored towards meeting and exceeding individual customer needs and expectations in future. It’s a massively exciting time to be involved in the homelift market!”
